Our Park

5 star RV Park

The park was built in 2004 in rolling countryside just north of downtown Tyler, and just south of the main I20 freeway. With 25 RV pads on 20 acres of land, so there’s plenty of room here. The park was built for big rigs, our 12 pull-throughs are 75’ feet long by 30’ wide, and the 13 back-ins are 65 feet long by 30’ wide, so you are less crowded than in many local parks.

We are 5 miles from the antiquing centre in downtown Tyler, 6 miles from the main medical centre (for traveling nurses or treatment), 8 miles from the Delek refinery, 4 ½ miles to a discount grocery, and 7 miles to local Wal-Marts. Tyler has a shopping mall with Sears, JC Penny, Foley’s, Dillard’s and many local stores.

Restaurants

There are a number of eateries under 5 miles from the park including Pauline’s, a local all-you-can-eat buffet, Dairy Queen, Denny’s, McD’s, and a good local Italian. About 7 miles away there is Sonic, CiCi’s pizza, a Chinese all-you-can-eat buffet, and Posado’s Mexican. A little further and there’s another local Italian, another Chinese, Ryan’s Buffet, more Mexican than you can shake a stick at, Olive Garden, Applebees, Cheddars and a couple of good local restaurants a notch up from the commonplace.

Power

This is really important to us. We buy electricity from a renewable source so your stay with us will not put any unnecessary CO2 into the atmosphere, or the need to import crude oil from abroad. All sites have full hook-up, 20, 30 and 50 amp electricity supply.

Television

We have cable TV connection to sites with 20 channels, they are.

WiFi internet

Service is complimentary with your stay.

Laundry

We have a coin operated laundry next to the office.

Propane

We will have bottles filled for you; just see us in the office.

Library

There is an exchange library for books, VHSs and DVDs in the laundry.

Walking trails

In woods, around the pond and through the pastures.

Pond

You are welcome to feed our frogs, turtles and fish (but not from a hook!) or simply to sit in our swing seat and relax.

Pets

You may exercise your pets anywhere on site but dogs must be on a leash and picked up after.

Security

The park has a single entrance and CCTV cameras covering the entrance and office. Manager and owners are resident on site for both security and convenience.

Upgrades

We are constantly upgrading the site. The previous slag road has been replaced with asphalt and currently we are gradually replacing the existing gravel pads with concrete pads and adding sun and hail shades. Another upgrade planned is a group covered shelter with a grill (our existing group grill and fire pit is open air) and we want to provide a $5 evening meal option for guests.
